Supervisor, 2nd Shift

The Maquoketa Company is seeking an experienced team player to supervise 2nd shift for our manufacturing operation. We offer a safe and clean work environment with a competitive compensation and benefit package. The Maquoketa Company is a stable manufacturing facility that opened in 1990 as a subsidiary of Morrison Bros. Co. (est. 1855). We design, engineer, and manufacture integrated fuel storage components for the energy industry. Our manufacturing operation consists of CNC machining, assembly, powder coating, and shipping. 

Position hours are on 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM. The 2nd shift supervisor will be a working supervisor, performing some manufacturing tasks. Previous experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment or related work experience required. CNC experience preferred. 

Training generally takes place on day shift. Benefits include nine paid holidays, vacation, health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.

Being an Assembler requires the dexterity necessary to assemble, sub-assemble, and test a wide range and size of products. Previous experience in a manufacturing/assembly position would be a plus. This position is first shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday). We offer progressive pay increases, and our competitive benefit package includes 11 paid holidays.

The Utility Operator will float as needed in assembly, CNC machining, shipping, and product testing. Scheduled hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. Sales Account Manager (Mid-South Region)

Founded in 1855, Morrison Bros. Co. is a growth-minded designer and manufacturer of quality equipment utilized in the petroleum and chemical industries. We’re seeking candidates for an Account Manager in our Sales Department for our Mid-South U.S. Region. Candidates will need to become a knowledge base for all Morrison products and distribution channels. Initial training and orientation will be based at the corporate headquarters in Dubuque, Iowa. The permanent work location will be based in the Mid-South region of the US and will require frequent travel within the region.

Account Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Customer Communication: Interact with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to understand their needs and address any concerns. 
  • Relationship Building: Build strong customer relationships by maintaining existing business and working to acquire new customers. 
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure customer requests are addressed promptly. 
  • Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints and find solutions to any issues that arise.
  • Customer Representation: Act as the customer's representative within the company, advocating for their needs and improving the overall customer experience. 
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to customer behavior to understand changing needs. 

Account Manager Qualifications

 

  • Education: Degree preferred but not required. Relevant experience or a background in sales, marketing, or communication is valuable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills (including verbal communication and listening skills) are essential for customer interactions, group presentations, and training sessions.
  • Technology Competence: Comfort with computer systems and tools is crucial. Experience with Microsoft programs as well as Salesforce CRM software is a plus.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Five (5) years of experience in the petroleum equipment industry is preferred.

Maintenance Technician, 1st Shift

Do you have electrical experience? Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics?

We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and structures on 1st shift in our industrial buildings. Experience with PLCs and CNC equipment is a plus. Requires hands-on machinery, maintenance/troubleshooting experience. Technical Diploma/Associates degree is a plus. Competitive pay based on education and experience. Choose what best fits your life schedule by having the choice between working five -8-hour days (Monday through Friday) or four 10 - hour days (Tuesday through Friday) servicing the facility and machinery in Dubuque.
