Overfill Prevention Valve - BSP Threads

The 9095B series overfill prevention valve has BSP threads and is designed to prevent overfilling storage tanks by providing a positive shut-off during a pressurized fill.

*Compatible with aviation fuel systems and the Morrison 539 Diffuser.

For use on clean liquids only. Not suitable for motor oil.

Top fill, remote fill, and dry disconnect connections available

Attach model 419 drop tube easily with included drop tube adaptor

Adjustable float (1.5”)—for setting the precise shut off height

Integrated bleed hole prevents siphoning through the valve

Immediate and cushioned shutoff eliminates line shock

Full flow up to within seconds of valve closure

Once closed, the integrated bleed hole featured allows less than 2% of the maximum flow to relieve fill line pressure allowing the fill nozzle to be removed without spilling product

Valve operates on simple mechanics with minimal moving parts. Shutoff is activated by basic hydraulic principles with not springs, levers of complicated sequence leading to valve closure

Typical flow rates: 2” is 183 GPM at 10 PSI pressure drop. 3” is 566 GPM at 10 PSI pressure drop

5 PSI minimum flow requirements. The valve will not work in gravity filling applications

  • Adaptor: Aluminum (hard-coat anodized)
  • Female adaptor: Ductile iron
  • Body: Anodized aluminum
  • Plunger and dashpot: Nickel plated brass
  • Shaft, linkages, and hardware: Stainless steel
  • Piping: Steel (epoxy coated)
